Following Friday’s announcement with the first two acts, we can now announce who will be joining them!

Ed Drewett will join us for his first London show having signed with Polydor earlier this year!

Ed, who co-wrote All Time Low, Glad You Came and Lightning for The Wanted, is now signed to Universal as well and is ready to take on his own assault on the charts! We’ve heard some of his new material and lets just say it’s AMAZING! The singer-songwriter from Essex first came to public attention with the single “I Need You Tonight” with Professor Green which reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart.

Joining him will be Johnny Tremorheart and the already announced J Marie Cooper and I Am Tich.

The first two acts announced for Showcase Live on 18 June at Under The Bridge are J Marie Cooper and I Am Tich

J Marie Cooper first performed at Showcase Live in 2009 and has since impressed all four coaches and millions at home on The Voice UK. Jessie J said, “Your voice is insane. Its ridiculosooooo! Will.I.Am, who’s team she later joined added “You are a star of an artist!”

Singer / Songwriter J Marie combines beautifully crafted, heart-felt lyrics with an explosive on-stage presence that has captivated London’s music scene.

‘My style is always evolving’, says J Marie. I have been through some extremely dark times, and some wonderful light times. God is my witness and it’s all there in the music! Every mile stone and every bit of joy you can hear, right there in the words of my songs’.

Also performing will be Tich, a 19 year old singer songwriter.

She has already toured with Paolo Nutini, Pixie Lott and Justin Bieber. Last year she played a host of the major UK festivals including Glastonbury, T in the Park, Oxegen and V Festival as well as getting ready for her very own headline tour.

She is currently writing and recording her stunning debut album with world-acclaimed producers and writers including Matt Prime, Nick Jonas and Andrew Frampton and she is looking forward to the release of her first EP in the summer.

What a success!

SnowLow 256 (1)

Last night the Showcase Live team celebrated their Fifth Anniversary show and Pixie Lott even came down to join the celebrations. Times Red kicked off proceedings with their first gig. They were a great, fusing vocals, beatboxing, keys and guitar.

Elsie shortly followed and blew the room away. Her no-mess attitude rocked the room and know this really is only the beginning for her. Third up was Duke who brought true soul to the room. His current and older influences were obvious.

Felicity Kaya was the fourth act and certainly impressed. Shes already buzzing with label interest and its easy to see why. Jermaine Riley headlined and previewed material of his new album. We can’t wait to hear more.

We’ve had a great five years with some incredible acts – here’s to the next five. It kicks off with our next show on 16th APRIL at Under The Bridge!
