Want to perform at Showcase Live?
Remember that as we are regularly attended by the industries biggest figures and scouts, by the time you email us, you should be ready to play in front of these people. You should have at least 25 minutes worth of ORIGINAL material, have a good online presence and be good enough to stand out.
Tips
Here are some off-the-record tips. You’d be surprised as to how many people don’t do this or get it wrong…
• Get our names right in the email!
• Don’t copy in every other promoter in London asking for gigs!
• Don’t waffle, cut the bull – tell us only the most important and relevant things about the artist!
• Make sure the links are clear. Don’t send us on a treasure trail in search of your music!
• Only send your best material!
• Come down to the event and meet us… make an impression!
• Look at when our next events are… don’t ask to play a date that doesn’t exist!
• Complete the form ONCE – don’t send it again a week later if you haven’t heard back.
